Why is your research important?
I aim for sustainable future and use tools such as science and education to achieve it. Only through education, popularization, having a scientific background and continuing to work in science can I consciously participate in this process.
What are your personal motivations?
To broaden knowledge about the Ocean and raise environmental awareness, we aim to present various topics related to our daily duties. Despite this, my strong interest lies in understanding the ongoing climate change, and during this cruise, our main purpose – to study brackish water masses. Beyond that, I truly enjoy the way we work as a team, supporting each other and savoring our time onboard.
